On a trip to Africa, Jackman met a coffee farmer named Dukale who changed the way he veiwed the world. This meeting was the inspiration behind founding his own coffee brand with partners Laughing Man Worldwide. Jackman sa ys in a video release for the charity coffee, “When I was traveling in Ethiopia, I met a man who changed the way I looked at the world. As Dukale and I planted coffee trees together, I began to see the potential for one man’s hard work to transform an entire community…While working with Dukale that day, I was so inspired by what I learned from him and his community. I made Dukale a promise to do my bit to help. Laughing Man Worldwide is the fulfillment of that promise.” The “Real Steel” actor partnered with Laughing Man Worldwide to create a new African blend of coffee that will benefit the community that Dukale is from and others like him. Laughing Man has partnered with Harlem Village Academies and Dr. Deborah Kenny to support educational initiatives all over the world. 100% of the proceeds from sales of the Laughing Man brand go to charity. The brand believes in the slogan “All Be Happy” and shows it by supporting businesses and community farms like Dukale’s that use hard work to transform the community.
