Aerosmith fans in Japan can rejoice, because the rock band will be touring through the country in support of its residents ever since the devastating earthquake and tsunami hit last year.

The band has announced an eight-date winter tour and lead guitarist, Joe Perry, revealed they will stop at some of the more stricken areas.

“Our fans know how much we love them and we are eager to return and give them the show of a lifetime, especially after the tragedy they have recently been through,” Perry said in a statement.

This will be the first tour for the band, since the last time they rocked out together more than five years ago. The tour kicks off on Nov. 22, 2011 in Kanazawa and tickets go on sale July 23.
