Tesla’s premium electric sedan, better known as Model S, never ceases to amaze. Unlike other electric vehicles that contain some form of an internal combustion engine, the Model S is truly electric in all senses. Apparently no other car can beat the Model S in terms of sustainability. But, what about safety?
Tesla’s Model S Sedan is proud to be the safest electric vehicle ever. Although the official scoring does not go past 5-star, independent testing by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has awarded the Tesla Model S a 5-star safety rating, not just overall, but in every subcategory without exception.
Good news aren’t over for the company: according to statistics released by the Automobile Dealers Association of California, in the second quarter of this year, Tesla sold 4,714 Model S units increasing their sales 33% compared to 2012 sales.
